Living Life on Purpose with US Congressman Gary Palmer

Gary Palmer is born and raised in Alabama and has literally gone from the outhouse to the White House in a story of the American Dream and servant leadership. Gary serves as the 6th District Representative for Alabama. Gary is a huge proponent of a strong family and constitutional principles. He also has a heart for raising up young leaders and wants to see future statesmen, not politicians, emerge in our country. He has been shot at for his beliefs and still does not back down in the face of danger to his person or career.

In this episode of Executive Lion’s Living Life On Purpose, Matt Wilson and Andrew Wells sit down with U.S. Congressman Gary Palmer to discuss how he lives with character and conviction in a place that is lacking both traits.

3 Takeaways from this interview:

1) Gary is focused on principle over politics in a role that is often criticized for going with the highest bidder.

2) Gary is from a small town and stays true to his roots.

3) During the shooting in D.C. Gary had his life threatened and a close friend had a long recovery after being shot. Yet, Gary continues in his pursuit of service to this country and is raising up other leaders to follow after him.
